The canons of beauty are always changing. What 70 years ago was "the perfect body", nowadays, it isn’t and without going further, what last year was the "ideal body" this year it isn’t. A model of the last century would starve this century; the canons of beauty are completely different!! But why this happens? It's pretty clear that we are very obsessed with our physical appearance and this leads us to live always looking the models that we should follow. When appears a model who is a little different from the others, people start to follow and imitate her, and for this, our idea of beauty is always changing, and in that way, we would never be happy with our self and this is very sad..
Even so, I think that all of us should be more independent, I mean, it's normal that the ideal of beauty of the moment influence us but we have to think that what is the top today, would be "the worst" tomorrow, so don't change yourself.

    what do you think?
    Paula Valls:
Nowadays the plastic surgery is introduced in all the developed countries, because more and more people want to feel young and get a good image for more time, and it's a risk aesthetic operation. I think that this surgery must only be used for patients who had had an accident or had deformities, because it's a very expensive surgery and a dangerous surgery, that we only should be used to improve our health and not to modify our body, we must feel beautiful or handsome as we are.
    EVA
In my point of view people, mostly women, are influenced by the society to take care about their physically appearences and that’s not bad at all. All single human must do it but there is a limit, we expect being perfect all our life and the plastic surgery acts here, when there is someone who desires looking younger, they (plastic surgery industry) present a way to reach it by operations. Most people who subjected to that process is because of the complexes society has created theirselves and thet’s the critic point.I totally agree when those operations uses to change the life of somebody who had suffer an accident and had became different physically.
    Enric Navarra
This infographic I think it's depending on each person and his way of thinking. I know it's a study but nowadays we also consider the physical more important than know the person you can be both more attractive.
Not only are the man who we look only on the physical if not that girls too.
I agree that womens feel bigger, although plastic surgery can worsen it. Any operation brings you more harm than good.
In addition the operations would be unnecessary because the beauty is inside and even though we are old we will always be someone who like our shortcomings.
To sum up, the age is a number!!
    AIDA
To be honest I think that being or feeling young, it’s not a matter of appearance but a matter of way of thinking. I mean, when someone overthink about the age makes his or herself stress out and wants to find out some solutions, and that it’s the real problem. For example, when I see one woman with a plastic surgery I think that see is older than she really is, because I see her more artificial. In my point of view the real secret of feel forever young is being natural, accept your age and go on, because it’s a way of thinking, not a way of your appearance. Like Meryl Streep.
    Natalia Palma Guerrero
Everybody take care of our physical and the impression that we cause to people when they see us, we don't want to grow older, nor do we want to get older or our hairs turn white, but what is more beautiful than old age? To see that we are alive, that we are advancing in life and that the efforts we have made are marked in us, what is more beautiful than that? Well, it's true that for many people to grow up and see us old is something bad, but at the end of everything, at the end of our lives, we end up with someone who complete us with their attitude and makes us feel good, we do not marry with a very beautiful person and have a good body, but that does not make you feel good, or does not stay in the good and bad moments. I believe that every year that passes we are more beautiful, and that the only thing that changes is the date not us, we are still children, we still want to eat pasta with tomato, and above all we want the love of our parents and that they hug us when we go to sleep.
    FAUSTINE GABARD
We use to talk about the beauty of appearance and the beauty of the soul.
Everybody should ask its self if there is one more relevant between those two. And if there are only two beauty conceptions.
For my part, the one is forever is the real beauty. Saying this I’m sure that the first thought will be that the eternal beauty is the deep inside.
Just imagine that we could be forever young. There we have a conflict. If either our personality or our appearance will remain the same forever which one is the real beauty?
Just with this case we see that this topic is relative. And we just need to compare different civilizations to see that beauty can have been ascribed distinctive point of view.
In Africa Adamne means “beautiful girl” and Odara means “beautiful woman”; a girl changes growing up and becomes a woman, but both as the girl as the woman are a kind of beauty. There are different beauties.
In Arabi Damali means “beautiful vision”; beauty is a question of parallax. Depending on the position of the observer, an observed object looks different. That means depending on the person, things looks more or less beautiful.
In Chinese Jia Li means “good and beautiful”; they are the only ones to assemble the two-beautiful aspects that we talked about at first. Good is the deep beauty and beautiful is more superficial.
They also say Xin Qian that means “happy and beautiful”; for Chinese people a Happy person is a beautiful person. And a happy person is the one that is in peace with his own self.
Those different meanings of beauty, including the American, are just few of boundless others.

    BERTA MATEOS
The idea of beauty has changed a lot and is also changing now. There isn’t any similarity between the opinion that can give us someone from the beginning of the century and the opinion from someone from the end of the century. To see how it has changed, we only have to compare how was the ideal women years ago and how is now. Now we probably calcified as a “fat” women that at the begging of the century was considered “with the perfect body”. And in the same way, someone from the beginning of the century will considerate as “poor” or “ill” a girl form our century.
Beauty has always been an objective to get. It means that everybody wants to be like the “model” that describes the beauty for each time. Your hair, the shape of your eyes, your nose, the ears or the cheeks is only a little part of the things that can make you like the beauty model or not.
I think that try to become the ideal of beauty is not accept the fact hat everybody is different and it is what really make us beauty. When we try to look like a model we are trying to look everybody in the same way.
    MERITXELL JULIÀ:
In my opinion it’s true that the ideal of beauty has changed this 100 last years. But I don’t know why. The beauty girls of this last 10 years are very skinny and tall, but the majority of the normal men prefer curvy girls, not a stick. So, why the beauty ideal changed? I don’t know, maybe the judges are blind, or are weird men. And, if in this 100 last years the ideal women beauty is to be skinny, how be in the next 100 years? Thanks of the women that fight for change this, and every time there is more women with 100 years sizes ago than stick women.
    Ophelie G.
Ideal beauty changed among the years in a millions of ways. Some years ago, a beautiful woman was who had white skin and who was fat, because represent rich people, so the ones who could eat as much as they wanted and didn’t work outside, when the sun was shining.
In contrast, in this day and age, it is completely the opposite; a beautiful woman is thin and dark skin. What a surprise, don’t you think so! That is why I think the rules of beauty are wrong. A pretty woman is who makes visible her intern beauty, giving to anyone the possibility to understand her personality just looking her aspect. All without consider the passing of time.
    Mar Oliva:
We are all aware that the ideal of beauty is constantly changing throughout the years, and I think that’s normal. As well as the fashion changes, the ideal bodies do too. During the 20th century, the ideal of women body has gone from a curvy body to a more skinny one, passing through bodies with small breasts, with white skin, with long legs and athletic bodies, between others. And I don’t think this is bad: it is only an ideal of beauty, but it doesn’t force anyone to be like that. Or that’s how it should be.
I think it’s important for every woman, and also men, to be aware of the type of body they have, and to accept it as it is. If you don’t like something about your body, maybe you can change it doing exercise and sport, but it’s not always this way. That’s why everyone should accept their body, and accept also that the ideal of beauty it’s not something that has to be imposed, it’s just something that it’s fashionable at the moment, and that it will change in some years time. And as it constantly changes, it doesn’t mean that when the ideal of beauty is a skinny body, a girl who is curvy won’t be considered beautiful. Beauty is very subjective and it depends on the eyes of each person.
In spite of that, I know it’s difficult to make women aware that ideals of beauty are just a trend, so I think it’s good that some brands are trying to show different bodies as a beauty ideal, because it’s something that can make women appreciate more themselves.
    Iman:
The standards of beauty change very quickly. But, a person can undergo many transformations in one century?
Yes they can. For exemple, the "perfect" woman of 1930 is not considered beautiful nowadays. For example in
the 1920s, flappers, do not mark much their curves. Instead, in the 1930s, thanks to Mae West, they marked the
    waist and hips.
In conclusion, the canons of beauty have changed in only one decade. So we can deduce that the ideal of beauty
    has changed until nowadays.
    Chaymae Salama
The idea of beauty since approximately 100 years ago has changed a lot respected today, since at that time, the perfect body was to be fat and white skin, this had demonstrated to be high class person and didn't work as slaves or as farmers who spend day in the sun.
Today, it's the opposite, the beauty is being dark-skinned, high and thin.
In my opinion I think that although the idea of beauty changes, the people would not have to change his beauty, because you should feel good about yourself.
I also believe that although the current beauty is to be tall, thin and dark skin, it wouldn't means that if you do not have these characteristics you wouldn't be a beautiful person.
    Mariona
It's amazing how much the 'Perfect Body' has changed in 100 Years, and how much is changing nowadays.
The feminine beauty ideal is "the socially constructed notion that physical attractiveness is one of women's most important assets, and something all women should strive to achieve and maintain". Beauty ideals vary from culture to culture and change among the time too.
These ideals have been related with depression, eating disorders, and low self-esteem, starting from an adolescent age and continuing into adulthood.
As I was saying, our idea of beauty is always changing so we have to think that what is the top today would be "the worst" tomorrow. For this reason, we haven't to change ourselves despite the ideals of beauty influence on us.

    Judith Carpio
Nowadays all women or men try to follow the canon of beauty that society established and most of us do the possible for be as models or actress. However, this canon had changed because the styles and mentality are modified with time. So, for this reason in 100 years the ideal of beauty had changed a lot as a consequence of evolution, the development of the situation of the women and the way of treat them and see them in society makes change the ideal beauty. It is constantly changing, so in any moment the ideal beauty can be modified, because our mentality is changing and as a result we modify the canon of beauty.
    Natalia Palma
Nowadays, all of us want to look handsome and we want that people think we are handsome. We try to go trendy, have the most beautiful clothes and people like our outfit. We are always looking for the approval of the people around us, but I think it's best to approve yourself, to feel good with yourself because all the beauty ideals change constantly and when you are in a one canon of beauty, that will not be fashionable and you will have to change again, so enjoy your body and how you are, because there is only one life and many people would like had the body you have.
    FAUSTINE GABARD
Is beauty subjective or objective? Of course, physical beauty is subjective. In any case this is my point of view. Everything linked to fashion and trend change constantly. That’s a fact. As the article says about the “perfect body” it happened with high heeled shoes, a fashion accessory.
As heels passed from manly tendency to sexy and might change again, the “perfect body” changes too and will never stop changing too.
The reasons of this ceaseless changing it’s based on the continual changing point of view of beauty. A subjective beauty that keeps changing as time passes.
Beauty is constantly changing and some of those please people. That’s why they remain until another slight changing arrives and capture the people attention.
    MARTA JUNCÀ
Beauty change as the history change, every time has his prototype of beauty, ancient Greeks has the prototype of fibrate women, during the 20th century, the ideal of women was a curvy body and nowadays the prototype is a fit and skin women. But what that can happens, who describes the prototype? Why the women can be influenced by that? I think it’s because the publicity, the TV and the social networks, all the girls that are famous have a ‘’perfect body’’ sometimes if you don’t have that body you can’t success.
My conclusion is that we don’t have to accept that, we have to say yes to our body and love it, because maybe when we have had our age perfect body that can change, and became another.

What do you know about it?
Please Comment on things you didn't know!!
    NORDEN:
In my opinion this is doesn't affect me because when i'm going to die this cosmetics and things don't affect me, but i disslike the thing that people only buy for influencies, I hope that the people have to find a own style, and don't buy the things that the publicity talks to, because a lot of good things that the cosmetics things give to us are the same in diferent types of products.
    Maria Baguer
Currently, cosmetics are full of toxins, and these can be carcinogenic. Each product contain 20% of chemical substances, that body absorbs are absorb by the body.
The pollution it’s bigger in women than men because women use more products.
In my point of view, and as video said, the big industries are the reason of all of this, because the absence of laws causue that these companies take advantage of this. Consequently they can cheap the products earning more money.
    Natalia Palma Guerrero
Now, cosmetics are very used by men, but even more by women, since they always have been the ones that have been made up, well combed, and shiny, very beautiful! Well, as the video says, the industries make more and more products that can make us have more beautiful skin, hair as we want, hide the marks of age, etc ... but all these products have many chemicals that are carcinogenic. But to these companies the only thing that interests them is to make money, and money, and more money. So I think it's better living more years with your imperfections that you would like someone, not try to be someone who is not you using those products and die before. If we continue for this way, our children, their children and their children, will live in a polluted world where they can not breathe until the Earth says STOP! And some misfortune happens.
    Julie De La Calle Cheuzeville
Currently most of the women use make-up, and miraculous cosmetic products, and everytime is most common see men using this type of things, also I have to say that in the K-Pop industry men use make-up as a normal complement, well this type of stuff are full of toxic substances that at the end make our skin look worst without them, but the beauty industry isn't worried about the people's healthy because the only interest they have is make money.

First of all I agree about the principal idea of the advertisement.
I think the society tries to convince people about stupid beauty ideals. They teach us to care about appearance in an obsessing way and to always want the better and the perfect body. It’s true that people like to feel comfortable with themselves but that’s all, people shouldn’t be adoring and wishing to be like some people that society denominated as perfect.
That’s the reason why I like the video, because is a criticism of this beauty ideals. Finally I would say that in my opinion society should be more conscious of that, and do something to change it.
    Carlota:
I totally agree with the advertisement’s objective.
Beauty makes so much pressure on women. All the advertisements show tall, thin, tanned and beautiful women who make us want to be as pretty as them. And the worst of all is that society tells us we have to be like them to success in life. It kind of orders us to pay to plastic surgery for changing who we are, for changing our identity. What society should teach us is to love ourselves the way we are, not to hate our defects and change them.
    Xavi Bech:
Beauty ideals have changed through time. It have really changed since we were primitive humans beings, such as Homo sapiens or Homo neanderthalensis. In those time, the most beautiful women were those who had a wide waist, nevertheless now the most beautiful women are those who have the slimmest waist, interesting change of preferences, isn’t it?I think that this change of preference is product of the aesthetic business. In the case of men, just in my case, I don’t think that we are so influenced by aesthetic advertisements, but we have a natural impulse of having a good muscultare to show.
MERITXELL JULIÀ:In this video, we can see how the beauty influence child’s and girls mainly. Television and the streets are full of the ideal beauty; it seems like a type of contamination. Little girls will grow up with this “contamination”, and that’s terrible. There is only “beautiful” girls in these advertisements, but who says that these girls are beautiful? Who chooses which women are beautiful or not? These little girls will grow up in a fake society, nobody can choose the ideal beauty. But they do. So, what can we can do? As this video says, we need to talk with children before they are contaminated with these stupid advertisements.
    ANASS MAAZIZI:
To start with, this video shows us the power of media and advertisements showing a specific ideal of beauty.
In my opinion the big problem is the media and the people who are trying to influence us consciously. As we know each person has something different, something special. I think we have to start loving ourselves and the beauty nature has given us. Of course I think cosmetics are good if you use them to remark just a little bit your beauty but if they really change your appearance it’s like hiding what you really are and in that case they are bad.
In addition I totally agree with the final idea that appears in the video: the only solution is educating children in terms of self esteem and personal acceptation.
Finally I would like to say that when I was seeing the video I realised how bad is our society, people are being treated like machines; a lots of plastic surgery, makeup, diets...I think women and men are paying a big price for what they call beauty.
    Campio Gameiro:
In my opinion this video show that in our society the beauty of women are so much imiportant that the beauty of man because always the women are in the streats pose in a photo but they are in underwear. When you see that you involuntarily are introducing in yourself this concept of beauty this concept of the women is an object because she onle have to exhibit her body to feels good. That's stupid because all people would have to feels good with theirself but the industry are control the society and we follow the rules that they put on the society. If we stop that rules for example that one girl isn't beauty if she isn't slim or if a boy isn't beauty if he isn't muscular, etc. we have to stop this. We have to teach in our generation and the next generation that the beauty it founds inside of the people not in his image.
    PAULA CABALL:
Nowadays there are plenty of beauty products from different brands, for all types of skin, hair, body… Are they trying to help us to feel better about ourselves? Or are they just trying to convince us that we are not perfect enough, so we feel forced to buy those products and they make loads of money? They are companies, most of them powerful companies whose main objective is to make money, money and more money. They are trying to feel you insecure about your body so you will buy their products.
But what is the main problem? That we believe it! I’m sure a great part of the world’s population know that beauty industry is trying to manipulate us. So, why we still buying them? Because even though most of us are conscious of it, we still want to feel pretty. And there’s nothing wrong with it! The problem appears when it becomes and obsession.
Also, there is another problem: that everyone does it. For example, in the case of women, most of us make up almost everyday; some women more than the other ones, but it’s a normal thing. But once I saw a video of a woman who decided to go to a formal event without makeup. She explains that everyone was looking at her in a strange way. That is an example of how beauty industry manipulates us: if you don’t look pretty, if you are a woman and you don’t wear makeup, or if you don’t shave… you are weird. We are in the XXI century, please, let’s break with all those beauty canons.
    Àlex Cifuentes:
Nowadays we live surrounded by publicity, it’s a part of our life. Maybe we think it’s not as important as it is but that’s because we are always seeing advertisements and we don’t think about it, but unconsciously it affects us.
In this video we can see how society establish beauty stereotypes to convince people that they have to be like the models that appears in the advertisements. People buy the products that publicity shows and then they feel more comfortable but that products are always changing and people needs to be always buying (depending on the money that you have).
But honestly I think it’s not a problem because everybody win, we feel more comfortable and they earn more money, the problems come when somebody have not money to buy specific clothes or products. I know we are treated like puppets but we have nothing to do except accepting that.
    Guillem Segura
Nowadays in our society, we take care of our image in every moment, not everybody but the most of people does it.
With new tecnologies, we can met new people more easyly that in the past using social network. In social networks, the first thing that you see of people are his pictures. People take care for their image because they want to please the ones that visit their profile.
On the another hand there are a lot of comercial advertisement what uses famous people becouse they know that people want to look like them. So they show cosmetic products used by famous people. In this comercial advertisement the products work so good. That makes you think that it also will work with you.
In my opinion we are a superficial society becouse we’re all day worry about our image.
    AIDA
It’s really disappointed but nowadays that happens. Maybe that kind of advertisements doesn’t influence you directly but it can do it by your unconscious. I mean, when you see a “perfect body” on TV you don’t feel insecure and influenced by it, but if you could change anything of your body, the results of your changes will seems that kind of “ perfect body”.
For that reason, I agree with this video, you have to teach to your children that beauty is different for everyone. No one has the same liking, so no one has to seem someone. Diversity makes the human being great. Because anybody can be you, and that makes you unique. Don’t let that the other people takes you that power.
Chaymae salamaFirstly I am agree about this video because i think that society today the only one that teaches you is to be physically perfect, have a good body and be beautiful.
But i think that All people have beauty and beautiful aspects both inside and outside, because i believe that The Beauty does not come from society, beauty is to feel good about ourselves and to be secure about yourself and not be manipulated by someone.
All in all I believe that The natural beauty is very important and we should ignore what society says.
    Mariona
Nowadays, we are living in a world moved by the influence that big industries give to us. People don’t have an own opinion about nothing, they allow themselves to be influenced by who has the power in this world, either on political, beauty, or moral aspects. Focus on the beauty, I think that at some point it would be dangerous. We are surrounded by advertisements, video clips, photos on Instagram, Facebook... and we only have to see anyone of these, to realize that all we can see are young and skinny people. Moreover, this models show to us a perfect skin, and a beautiful hair. So, what can this lead us to? Personally, I think that this will bring us to an insecure and discontent society, which will put the beauty at the top of their objectives in life.
    Marina.
In this video is reflected very well the society of today and that's disturbing and distressing. So, in this short video there are a lot of things that I want to comment.
First of all, I completely agree with the message of the video because I think that in this society is so important that our parents taught us a good principles since we are child. It is important because, currently, the society where we live are very corrupt and it can corrupt our mind.
I also want to explain why this society is like that. In my view, all the diseases and injustices of the society are due to the same thing: money. A lot of people that have an important role on society or influence on people sometimes are guided by money because they never get enough. So, they don’t know how much damage they are doing. Nowadays, we can see this in corruption. But, when I say that, I mean the advertising that is made of fashion and the models that teach, who are so thin and flawless. That is to say the beauty canon, which is creating many health problems to the young people, like eating disorders.
So, I want to say that beauty canon is an absurdity thing because all of us are different and we have our own appearance, which is unique and beauty. I think that be different and imperfect is better than be like everyone and live worried about our appearance, in the end what really matters is the personality.
    Julie De La Calle Cheuzeville
Nowadays, the beauty pressure is typical also in the childhood, because they spend their time seeing unconsciously advertisements of the beauty canons wherever they go, the kids are so influenciable that they want to take after the people they saw in the television, internet, etc., and that produces problems such as the eating disorders which are caused for the beauty and society pressure.

The desire of stay forever young is stupid. Not only by the fact that it's impossible and is a waste of time think in thing that can't happen. Let's forget that your skin will get old and really old, inside you your organs will still in use, and if i did remember it right, our heart is like a clock that kill us slowly, every time your heart beats kills you, so no, you can't life forever young. Unless you had regeneration or something similar, your mind will change, constantly, so if you will life forever, sometime you will discover that being forever young is stupid, and then you will comit suicide.
    Heather Yépez:
The desperate attempt made by Humanity to hide the effects of time in itself might actually have a philosophical root: many theorists ensure that this is an image of our fear of death as something that comes with time in an unavoidable way; this, at its turn, makes it justifiable from a humanistic point of view. However, this has been exploited by some estates of our society (as, for example, the cosmetic industry) to make a great and sustainable yet ethically horrible business out of it, considering the choice of many people is being essentially biased through taking advantage of a probably inherent –conscious or not– fear people bear as a burden.
My personal opinion on this has two sides: on one hand, as a subjectivist, I’m morally forced to point out that beauty is an artificial concept the true referent of which depends completely on the watcher; on the other, I think the pass of time and its visual effects are actually a proof of the accumulation of knowledge and experience over time, and being proud of such a thing is for me a sign of self-ownage. However, I could never object to somebody taking the decision to change their appearance, as it’s primordial that everyone feels comfortable with their looks and not everyone must share the same views when it comes to the optimal visual appearance.
    Xavi Bech:
This obsession about being forever young is obviously a waste of time because is an impossible dream and I could never be real. The picture of Dorian Gray and Nip Tuck are about this obsession of eternal youth and look forever good. It goes against the laws of nature and ageing because your body is always changing it never looks like a second ago or a second after. Inconciously we are growing up old, and it’s a matter of time that we’ll never be the same. That’s why we must accept our physical changes and our ages.
    Campio Gameiro:
I think that our society is too affected by beauty and we are so obsessed with our bodies. We have to realize that what do we are beauty and young are our personality and our thinking. We have to realize that whe only have one life and we have to enjoy it because we are humans, one day we are going to die and then, after our death what people will remember is our goodness, our thinking and they wouldn't remember our beauty. For example in these 4 years in my family were die 4 people, all of them were old like 50, 80 years old and I now when I thinking about they I remember, for example, with my great-grandmother when we were doing sew up together. We have to forget this stupid obsesion with our body and start to be happy because a life is one.

As many of my classmates have said, this obsession of being forever young and pretty all your life is not realistic. First of all, because there’s a circle of life: we are born, we grow up, we reproduce, we grow older, and finally we die. So no plastic surgery will make you be young forever. But I don’t understand this obsession of being always young and not growing older. People think that we only can be beautiful when we are young, but we have to change our point of view. Beauty is in all ages.
Also, we all know there are more important things that just your physical appearance. What about you meet the prettiest girl in the world but you get to know her and… Hideous personality. I’m sure you will not fall in love with her… well, maybe just because of her physical appearance, but we all know that this is not enough.
So, in conclusion, we don’t have to worry that much about being forever young (because, mainly, that’s impossible). I think we just have to live our life and enjoying all life stages.
    Àlex Cifuentes:
There are two interesting sentences, both acceptable.
According to the first sentence, I’m totally agree about that because I personally think that beauty is only skin deep and we don’t have to judge anybody by the appearance.
On the other hand I’m also agree with the second sentence because the majority of us judge people by the appearance, even if we try not to do it, unconsciously we think different about a good looking person comparing to a homeless for example, and maybe the first is a murder and the second one is a very good person.
So all we know that’s bad, howeve we still doing it because of the stereotypes that society put in our minds.
    Iman
The book and the film have the same obsession: be forever young and pretty.
I am totally sure we meet some friends or family have fear for growing up.
This idea is not cut off from us because of telecommunication. Both
advertising and the mass media have manipulated during the last decades
the stereotype of beauty and youth.

I think that the people that only think in his appearances or want to be forever young or something similar are stupid and have a really big problem of personality and self-confidence. Normally the persons who think constantly in his appearance and the opinion of another people, usually gain something only for her physical appearance, like popularity. The problem happens when they are obsessed in his look and set aside studies or things that they can use in their professional future. When they are completely focused in themselves and start to think that "one day I will become old", in this moment , it turns up the wish to be forever young. They will waste time to try to seem more beautiful and young instead to find a stable job and they will probably commit suicide.
    Ballu Touray:
I strongly believe that the statement “beauty is only skin deep” is not true.
First of all I wanna say that we are all beauties, even if we have defaults we are beauty, and our work is learn to love them and live with them.
On one hand, I think that the beauty that matter is the one we have in the soul. Because, as I said in the exam of the book, we don’t love our mom because of his beauty and in the same way we should don’t love the people because their outside, even if sometimes we get caught for the beauty of someone, after some time, we look for other things. Furthermore, by trying to look good and forgetting the soul,, we will have as a result: LOOKING good instead of FEELING good, and that’s the worst fail.
On the other hand I think in the business of fashion beauty is only skin deep and the more beauty you’re, more works you’ll have. However, there are now models with defaults that are very popular and I believe it is because they have learned to love them and their security run throught the pictures and it reach us.
To sump up, learn to love your defaults because we’re all beauties and, actually, the truth beauty is in the soul.
    Anna Cotcho
Many people have an obsession to be young at all times. Because it is the stage of life that you are more beautiful. But people would have to think differently. Because although we want to always be young is impossible to get it. We wouldn't have to obsess and we enjoy more of the present.
I do not agree with this sentence "Beauty is only skin deep"
Beauty is only a complement of a person. When you meet a person, the first thing you see is the physical, but after the thing you appreciate of this person, is the behavior, the inside. And this beauty is the most important of superficial beauty.
    Marcelino Florpma
The desire to be forever young is for people the, either can’t accept change and, in consequence, the future or the people that life from the memories. Because if you can’t accept the future and changes incoming in your life it’s because you are afraid, so you want something like to be forever young because it represents the idea of constancy and immutability.
And what’s wrong with growing up and becoming old? It has its own beauty, doesn’t it? In my opinion, every stage of life it’s good on its own, and we have to focus on enjoying every one of them instead on being stuck.
    Mariona Isern
    “Beauty is only skin deep”
Skinnier, prettier, healthier, sexier … All this only to reach the ideal of beauty, to be able to have the body of all the models that we see on the mass media, despite knowing that this is not their really appearance.
Physical beauty is superficial, a person’s character is more important than how they look. The most beautiful people can be rude, and be arrogant. In the same way, the ugliest people can be nice and lovely. This doesn’t mean that beautiful people are rude and ugly people are nice, but the outside does not say anything of the inside of somebody. So yes, beauty is only skin deep. Moreover, I think that sometimes the prettiest people do the ugliest things. I guess this is because absolute power corrupts absolutely, and pretty people are automatically powerful. Beauty gives people power over others.
What I’ve learned among my years of adolescence is that there are all different kinds of beautiful and its okay if you don’t look like the perfect model. I think it’s time for society to stop obsessing over looks and realize that personality is much more important. After all, beauty is only skin deep.
    YASSIN CHENTOUF
The beauty is a mirage that more people are obsess, but in my opinion the people must have to take account that the beauty of truth is the contents of each person inside. The worst of all, is the people who operate their own physique, putting at risk their life. I believe that is to like other people and to be able presume of having all the aspects of the body on the right site. The problem is that they don't think in the consequences, and when they stop being young, the body experiences a terrible fall, and nothing is the same again in this person. I recommend that a person has love himself, either way, it's better not to carry out none of this damn operations, since that it carry side effects.
    DEBORAH HEIDE GALAS:
First of all, for me this two sentences try to say the same thing, beauty is not everything, beauty is only superficial. Sometimes society gives too much importance on how they look or how they have to be. It is very difficult to change the mentality of everyone and make them see what the real thing is, but the talking about it, makes an effect on our minds that helps thinking you about it.
In my point of view, it's hard when you see what some people do to be something they are not by operating their face or things like that. This topic is so discussed because of the bad effect that makes beauty on the society and it is very important to raise awareness about the danger of beauty.

    "Beauty is only skin deep"
It’s obvious, because almost everyone says it: ones because they really feel like that, and the other ones because they feel they must say that to match with society opinion.
But what I really feel about it is that what defines a person is not his physique part (although I usually give importance to the physique) but the personality one. I think you can’t choose a person just for his appearance, I think that meet someone is to go one step further and see what makes him or her different.
This little difference, for me, is called beauty and everyone of us has something hidden deeply, something that in every case is appreciated by distinct people. Maybe because of it, we can consider that beauty is relative. Each one of us feels attracted by different people and it could be because we are capable to see this outstanding thing that remains inside each one of us.
So, in order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different, as Coco Chanel would say.

I don't understand people's obsession with external beauty. It is only skin deep because at the end of the day we will all day and we'll become nothing more than dust and bones. We'll probably get eaten by maggots, so, what's the point? From my point of view, spending a life-time suffering and being so concerned about our own beauty, spending tons of money on make-up and antiaging products and caring so much about every little thing that may be wrong with our physical appearance, just to be eaten by worms a few years later, it's kind of stupid. Worms don't care. They eat everything. And if they eat everything, it means that everything is fine the way that it is.
    MARTA JUNCÀ
In the Nip Truck’s first chapter there is the story of two brothers, one of them escape of his boss, he have had sexual relations with the boss daughter, a little girl. We want to an other person. The paedophile’s brother wants his brother surergy to start a new life, but the padereast only wants to be most pretty to attract more little girls. So the asthetic surergy don’t change the patient soul. So the truth it isn’t in the skin you have to know who some really is to talk about him.
    Julie De La Calle Cheuzeville
I think the industries make us worry so much about our appearance and some people want to be forever young to preserve the beauty of the youth, but become older is an human process and this goes hand-to-hand with the decrease of the beauty, and we have to accept that we are becoming older but also we have to accept that in our skin there are appearing wrinkles, and other types of aging marks. Also, I believe that we have to start to overlook our beauty, and live our life as if every day is the last day we are here to profit the youthfulness.

Have you seen the latest adaptation of the novel into a movie?
What are the differences between the Dorian Gray film and the novel?

I have watched it few days ago, just before reading the book so I could establish few differences between them.
In my opinion, the book is a very short adaptation and in my opinion I prefer the film. Even though that in the book appears almost everything, I could extend it a little bit to make it more interesting. I think that in the book, the actions occurs too fast so you barely have time to reflection it. I could also say that, what in the film is shown elaborately, in the book is shallowly mentioned.
But at large, I could say that it is a short well adaptation and it enables you to follow the main story.
